PTO Meeting

Come join Lindeneau PTO on Thursday, September 10th, for our monthly general PTO meeting. We will be meeting at 7:00 pm in the multi-purpose room. We encourage everyone to attend the meeting and stay up to date with current events, volunteer opportunities and much more happening at Lindeneau School.

There is much on the agenda for the first meeting of the school year.  Along with the Principal's report and information about upcoming events there will be two items up for a vote;  by-law amendments and the 2015-16 Budget.  More information is below on these two items so you can familiarize yourself with them before the meeting.  Hope to see you then.


Our projected budget this year is over $57,000. That works out to over $125 per student. 100% of the funds raised by Lindeneau PTO are reinvested into the school and the students. Our 2015-16 budget details exactly how these funds are being spent and is available online for your review. This proposed budget will be voted on at the September 10, general meeting.


Lindeneau Parent Teacher Organization Inc. by-laws were originally adopted November 11, 1993 and last amended on October 20, 2011. Since that time the organization has grown and gone through many changes. Therefore, over the summer of 2015 the PTO Executive Board set out to update the by-laws by making corrections, clarifying some articles and adding articles that are now required to qualify as a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization. These amended by-laws were proposed at our August 20, 2015 PTO meeting, and are set to be voted on at the September 10, PTO meeting.
