January Newsletter

Dear Lindeneau School Families,

Happy New Year and welcome back to school. We are so thankful for all the great things that have been happening at school. We can't wait for a great second half.

I want to thank everyone who has helped out and attended our events. If you want to get more involved in PTO, please email, call or talk to any of our PTO volunteers or leaders. We would love any help you can provide.

Please join us on January 20 at 6:30pm for our pasta dinner.  Please see the flyer for more details.

The Annual Tricky Tray is March 2nd . Please see the newsletter for the donation letter and information on how to volunteer. This event is our biggest fundraiser and requires all of us to make it a success.

Again, Happy New Year to all. Here's to a great 2012 for our kids and our school community.

If you need to contact the PTO for questions, comments or have an idea you like to share, please call 732-395-7501, email lindeneaupto@gmail.com or visit us at http://lindeneaupto.blogspot.com/.

Sincerely,
Richard Jeffreys
President

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

Our first contest is still going strong through the month of January. The class that collects the most will receive a special celebration. More information about Box Tops is available here.

TRICKY TRAY UPDATE

Our Tricky Tray is on Friday, March 2, 2012. We will be sending home information about class baskets. Every class is assigned a theme. These baskets will be raffled at the tricky tray. Please donate to your child’s class basket. Every donation helps!

In this newsletter there is also information on how to volunteer to help with the tricky tray. Any amount of time is appreciated, this is the biggest event of the year and it takes all of us to make it a success.

Right now, we are trying to solicit prizes from local businesses to big corporations.  We have a donation letter available that you can provide to your company to hopefully convince them to donate to this huge event that raises a lot of funds for our school. Do you have a favorite place for lunch or dinner? Or a favorite store that you shop in often? Why not bring them a letter and ask them to donate as well? We are trying to get all donations in by February 1, 2010.
