November Newsletter

Dear Lindeneau School Families,

I hope you all had a nice break. We ended October with our annual Boogie Bash. A very special thank you; to Marla Kentos and Joann Pena for making the boogie bash a huge success. Thank you to everyone who volunteered your time or volunteered snacks or supplies. Please check out the website for a video of the Boogie Bash, Halloween at the High and the Halloween parade.

Thank you to all who have volunteered to help out at our PTO events, without you these events would not be a success. The entertainment book fund raiser has ended. If you have not already done so please either send in $30 for the book or please return the book as it is not free.

In November during the Parent-Teacher conferences on 11/15, 11/7 and 11/29 we will be selling Smencil Grams for a dollar for you to send a short message to your child.

Also, Wednesday November 16th is Chuck E Cheese night. It starts at school with a visit from Chucky at dismissal time, followed by a fundraiser at Chuck E. Cheese on Rt. 1 North from 3:30 -9:00 pm. The kids will get a sticker to receive an extra 10 free tokens. The PTO receives 15% of all food, merchandise and token deals purchased at the register. Please mention to the cashier that you’re participating in your school’s fundraiser.

Thank you again for your support. Remember, the PTO is a group of parents that care about our school. We know you do too, so please join us on November 17 @7pm for the general PTO meeting. Kids are welcome and there is supervision provided during the meeting.

If you can’t attend the meeting and would like to contact the PTO please call 732-395-7501 or email  lindeneaupto@gmail.com

Sincerely,

Rich Jeffreys
President

The PTO is looking for volunteers to help out with school or family events. We are currently looking for a committee chair for the Courtyard. We are also looking for volunteers to help us with the Holiday Boutique, Breakfast with Santa, and our biggest event, the Tricky Tray. For more information, please contact us

Tricky Tray Committee Members Needed!

The PTO needs a lot of volunteer assistance! Right now, we are trying to solicit prizes from local businesses to big corporations. We have a donation letter available that you can provide to your company to hopefully convince them to donate to this huge event that raises a lot of funds for our school. Do you have a favorite place for lunch or dinner? Or a favorite store that you shop in often? Why not bring them a letter and ask them to donate as well? This is our biggest fundraiser of the year! If you are interested in helping out with the Tricky Tray or want a donation letter, please email lindeneaupto@gmail.com Thank you for helping to make this event a success!!
