Teacher Appreciation Day

Let’s celebrate our Lindeneau Teachers and Staff!

Lindeneau PTO will be hosting a Teacher Appreciation Day luncheon on Friday, May 8th to say “Thank You” to all the teachers and staff at Lindenau School. We would like to invite you to help by participating in one or both of the following ways:

Donate:

Please consider donating a dessert to the luncheon. Desserts can be homemade or store bought. They can be dropped off at the main office before 11am on Friday, May 8th. Let us know what you can donate by registering online here.

Create:

Bring in a homemade thank you sign, poster, or card for your teacher or staff member. Your creation will be used to decorate the lunchroom on Teacher Appreciation Day for all to see. Please send your sign, poster or card to the school, marked to the attention of “Lindenau PTO, Teacher Appreciation Day” by Thursday, May 7th.

Let’s show our Lindeneau teachers our appreciation.

Last Tiger Shop Of The Year

This Friday, May 1st, the Tiger Shop (School Store) will be open for students to shop for a variety of school supplies such as notebooks, pencils, Crayons, erasers and scissors during the school day. Please send monies with students in an envelope marked Tiger Shop.  See below for prices and additional information.

We need volunteers to help at the Tiger Shop. If you can spare some time to help the students pick out their school supply items, it would be greatly appreciated. Nominations and Elections for 2015-2016

• I want Lindeneau Elementary to be one of the best schools in New Jersey.
• I want my child to have a great school year – to learn and to have fun!
• I want to help decide how PTO fundraising moneys are spent.
• I want all the students at Lindeneau be successful.

If the above statements are true, then “help us help the school”. Parent involvement is critical for a successful school, so volunteer as a PTO officer or a committee chair for the 2015-2016 school year. There are positions that take no more than a couple of hours a month, some that are seasonal, and a few that require a routine commitment.

Dedicated teachers, staff, and PARENTS help make Lindeneau Elementary “A Great Place To Grow”. Join us – it’s rewarding, it’s important, it’s even fun!

Elections will be held at the PTO General Meeting on Thursday, May 14th at 7:00. All candidates for officer positions must be registered with the Nominations Committee by May 8th. Please return this form to your child’s teacher or to the school office.

PTO Meeting Tonight

Come join the Lindeneau PTO tonight, Thursday, April 23rd, for our general PTO meeting.  We will be meeting at 7:00 pm in the multi-purpose room.  We encourage everyone to attend the meeting and learn about what is happening at Lindeneau School.

McTeacher's Night

Ever dream of assigning "homework" for your teacher?  Now is your chance!  Bring your friends and family to Lindeneau's McTeacher's Night on April 14 between 4-8 pm at the Edison McDonald's, located at 1966 Route 27.  The teachers and staff from Lindeneau will roll up their sleeves, put on an apron and assist McDonald's with taking orders and serving your favorite McDonald's food.  A portion of all counter sales (not drive thru) from McTeacher's Night will be donated to Lindeneau School.

Additional  street parking is available on Vernon Rd.  (Behind McDonald's)

Pretzel Sale

Would you like to send a little something to your special student? Why not send a fresh Philly Pretzel home with them after school on Friday, April 17th! This sale is by pre-order only. Your child’s pretzel will be delivered to their classroom prior to dismissal. Please list your child’s information on the printable form here and attach $1.00 and send into to school by Wednesday, April 14th.
