The Scholastic Book Fair brings to school a wonderful
selection of fun, engaging, and affordable books kids want to read.
Giving kids access to good books and the opportunity to choose their own
books will motivate them to read more. And like most acquired skills,
the more kids practice reading, the better they’ll get.
Lindeneau
PTO will be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair on Thursday, October 12,
2017 and Friday, October 13, 2017. The Book Fair is open to students
who will shop with their classes on those days. It will also be open
for families to shop during the evening of Thursday, October 12 from
6:30 - 8:00 in the multipurpose room.
If you would like
your child to purchase books, please send money in with your child on
those days. All proceeds from the Book Fair help the PTO provide
even more books for the classrooms and the school library.
Book Fair BINGO!
As part of the Scholastic Book Fair at
Lindeneau School, the PTO will be hosting Bingo for Books on Thursday,
October 12 at 7:00. Come join us for this FREE family event that
promises to be a lot of fun! Prizes include Scholastic books for all
grade levels. And remember, the Book Fair will also be open until 8:00
during Bingo Night for students and parents to purchase books.
