Lindeneau's new Tiger's Den courtyard has recently opened and is a hit with the students. Thanks to a $5000 grant from
Lowe's Toolbox for Education, the PTO transformed an unused courtyard into what is now called the Tiger's Den. Additional donations from
New Beginnings Church and
Lindeneau PTO as well as installation and landscaping help from
Szebenyi Lawncare and
dedicated volunteers helped make it possible. The newly renovated Tiger's Den is an area students can use during recess to read, play games or be creative. Some of the features include:
- 2 outdoor chalkboards.
- 3 dry erase game tables that students can draw on with dry erase markers or play checkers with the built in checker board.
- 2 park benches for reading or relaxing.
- New paver sidewalk.
- New landscaping.
- DJ the Tiger mascot statue.
